Keeping this aspect in view, Islamic Commerce Educational Society (ICES) established Gujranwala Campus in 1997. Since then, the College has been functioning very well. This year, PGC, Gujranwala's performance in academics was par-excellence. In Pre - Engineering Group ZAIN BUTT topped the Gujranwala Board in boys while ANAM AZHAR topped the Gujranwala Board in girls.In Pre - Medical UMER IFTIKHAR topped the Gujranwala Board in boys while AYESHA SAEED topped the Gujranwala Board in girls. In General Science Group VINA JAVED grabbed top position in girls(Also over all top position)while in boys ZAIN BUTT topped the Gujranwala Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education.
Punjab Group of Colleges is declared "The Best College" in Gujranwala by Inter Board Committee of Chairman. Separate Welcome Parties for Boys and Girls of Inter and Degree classes were arranged in which students performed dramas, skits and made speeches.
Following the traditions, recreational tours were arranged for Boys and Girls students for Murree and other cities. PGC Gujranwala also arranged Quiz Competitions. These competitions were based on the covered course of the students.
